See You At The Big Gig In The Sky
The King Of Pop Dies At 50
Au Revoir Michael. Your music is immortal. It will never die or fade away.

So very typical of human nature that in this recent tide of misdemeanours levelled against Michael Jackson, we seem to have completely forgotten the fact that he was the biggest entertainer of our times bar none. There is no one who comes quite close to capturing the global appeal that the man enjoyed. I, for one, cannot think of a single other musician who is as big a star in Boston as he was in Birmingham, Bihar, Bucharest and Bahrain. Michael Jackson transcended geo-political, socio-cultural boundaries and united the world as no one else before him could. Not even the Beatles.
Sad to see him go, sadder still that he couldn't mount the massive comeback that was all set to get underway next month but saddest to think that a significant part of the world will remember him for all the random, unproven charges of child molestation instead of all the brilliant music that he gave us.
Au Revoir Michael. Your music is immortal. It will never die or fade away.
