Mick Jagger teams up with AR Rahman
Now Mick Jagger looks towards AR Rahman for some Slumdog Millionaire magic dust powder...Everyone wants a piece of AR Rahman. A quick trip to LA and back, saw the music maestro team up with the Golden-Globe-and-Grammy-Award-winning English singer-songwriter, rock musician Mick Jagger.
The Oscar winning Indian composer post his Slumdog Millionaire success, is apparently teaming up with former Rolling Stones man Jagger, Joss Stone and has even roped in rapper-actor Nas and Jamaican musician Bob Marley's sons Damian and Stephen.
According to a website, they have come together to work on a song that will be released on United Nation's International Day Of Peace on September 21st.
Jagger and Rahaman's jamming session is in fact their second one. The first being when Rahman was in America for the Oscars. Sources say, “When Rahman met Jagger, they discovered that they could do some good music together. It was then that they decided that AR Rahman would visit the US again and they would have another jamming session.”
