The great Thom Yorke and his crew over at Radiohead are back in studios to bang out some cracking new indie sounds for us. Colin Greendwood the band's bassist has confirmed that the band has begun recording for their new album, the follow up to 2007's In Rainbows.

Following Ed O'Brien's confession in March, Greenwood in an interview with BBC talked at the launch of a music journal Loops, and said the band has been writing new material post their In Rainbows touring. Talking about the story board, “We've got lots of ideas but we don't decide what we're going to do until we've finished the thing. It's all up in the air, but it was up in the air last time.”

Greenwood not only said the indie heros will be releasing new material, but also confirmed that the new record will be produced by Nigel Godrich who has worked with the band many times before. Speaking about their studio time, in true Radiohead fashion was, "noisy and chaotic and really fun."

In Rainbows was sold by letting people download music from the website, in a 'pay what you want' style. And we're guessing Radiohead's new selling tactics will be much anticipated.
