Sonu Nigam to sing songs for Michael Jackson

Famous Bollywood playback singer Sonu Niigam has off late revealed his fondness for the 'King Of Pop' - Michael jackson. In an interview Sonu uncovered his secrets which depicted the love he had for MJ & also told that he is working on a special venture with Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson to pay 'Tribute' to one of the biggest stars of the all times.

Famous Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam has off late revealed his fondness for the 'King Of Pop' - Michael jackson. In an interview Sonu uncovered that how he is one of the biggest fan of Michael and his secrets which depicted the love he had for MJ. Kal ho na ho singer also told that he is working on a special venture with Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson to pay 'Tribute' to one of the biggest stars of the all times. This will be the first tribute song to MJ from one of his family members.As disclosed by Sonu, after the song is recorded, he will work on a music video and release it soon.

"He also added that he is very happy that Jermaine agreed to work on the song with him". Sonu professed tons on "The King of POP" & said"Micheal Jackson was a great artist and as an artist it is his duty to appreciate MJ's commendable work. Michael changed a lot of things in the music industry and I don't think any singer around the world is left untouched by the kind of work he has done," Versatile singer,Sonu, who has been the voice behind chartbuster songs like "Kabhi alvida na kehna", "Saathiya", "Kal ho naa ho", "Dil chahta hai" and "Sandese aate hain" among others also revealed that he was in Los Angeles last year when the news of Jackson's demise broke."He was just two miles away from Michael Jackson's house where he died. Sonu also told that when he got to know the news he, his wife and his son, went to MJ's house in the evening and lit a candle there. So many people were standing there," he revealed.

On the professional front, Sonu informed that he is currently working on an album on world music.  He is not singing too many film songs nowadays because he is not getting the kind of songs he want & neither does he want to compromise by doing mediocre work. He is working on a world music album currently because as he want to focus and encourage non-film music as well."
