Bollywood’s golden past has become the flavour of the season for producers these days, it seems. Or maybe their well of creativity is drying up with a lack of ideas when it comes to naming movies. So, as we had a Bachna Ae Haseenon last year, the start of this year sees Aa Dekhen Zara (both based on hit Bollywood songs in the past decades) getting ready to hit the silver screen with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu in a paced up thriller.

The music composed by Gourav Dasgupta and Pritam, does pack punch. The title track, is a remix of the popular song from the Sanjay Dutt debut Rocky, and has been voiced by Neil Nitin Mukesh, who does a good job. Gourav has mixed some neat dance beat grooves, which are sure to keep a lot of feet happy. The ‘keep-your-feet happy’ rhythm is replicated on “Gazab” where Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan under Pritam’s direction pack a pretty good punch. You also have the odd love struck song for a doe eyed actress in the throes of love in its early stages on “Mohabbat Aapse”, sung by Aakriti Kakkar.
